The thing about letting the dog run the mouse out the door is she might keep going to the next barn. The dog I mean, the mouse will always come back.

We make ours into pesto sauce and freeze it. I didn’t plant any this year because we had a lot frozen from last summer.

I once ran at a mouse in my lounge and it handily jumped into a holdall bag – I zipped it up and put it out into the freezing cold in the garden. It was a good while before it braved leaving the bag!
