I’ve been putting ramsons (wild garlic) in my regular stews now for a couple of weeks. I like them raw in sandwiches too…
That’s a superb pair of photos – you can see every feather on the first bird’s chest (what bird is it by the way) and the second is a really great action shot.

Hi Carol, the bird is an American Robin. They are common here and are counted on as a harbinger of spring. I have also noticed wild garlic/onions in the hills above the valley bottom.

Yes you get ambitious! I have planted all my brassicas and I’m very pleased with myself! Now all I have to do is a post right! 😊
