Falling Star, Jupiter, Pleiades.

A Perseid just misses Jupiter. Pleiades rises first, soon to be following are the winter stars. Orion comes up in dawn, before long it will rule the early dark skies. They will bring calm and quiet that seems sorely missing right now.

I always look forward to your annual post on the stars. Living here in Charlottetown I do not get to see it, I would have to be in the countryside. Going to the countryside Sunday by the sea where there is no light pollution at all. It is a bit scary to see a sky white with stars and our own milky way.

Thank you Larry. Your comment means a lot to me. The Milky Way and swarm of stars always makes me feel lucky just to be included, however small. Wishing you and Will a wonderful weekend.

Pleiades is a favourite of mine also. It reminds me of calm. It is also called the seven sisters, there is many more stars in the cluster, but seven are what you can see with good eyesight.
